Memorial Day weekend, we went to Sun Valley, ID. Rad place! Kyle, me, Ky's bro Trev and Ky's mom cruised up to ID Saturday morning and stayed the night in this cool Swiss-lookin hotel. We sat in the hot tub in the pouring rain- that was my favorite.
The next Saturday we went with Ky's family down to a BBQ at his uncle's house in Mt Pleasant. I enjoy that area. They have so much space and silence! This is Kyle taking his cousin's boy on the motorcycle. He'll be an amazing dad one day. That night we went to the STYX, REO Speedwagon and 38 Special concert. Now THEY know how to rock!
The NEXT Saturday, my niece Anika got baptized. Kyle (volunteered!) and gave a great talk at the baptism.
We left Anika's baptism at 10am and sped up to Logan for Christy's wedding in Logan at 12:45pm! We made it by a matter of minutes before the ceremony. She looked beautiful!
Our Saturdays are pretty booked, but this coming Saturday morning is reserved to do some work on the house. We'll see if we accidentally get distracted and go fishing instead...
